2 回复I need clarification: If someone is running from a cop, don't you have the right to wound him with a gun to catch him?

10 回复
-I am much faster -Running out of breath after running a few blocks through people.
- you werent that much faster apparently - who was running out of breath? o you: you should train more o him: why did you have to tackle him when he was out of breath already?

2 回复Same thing happened a couple years ago in my home state. My dad told me that he was summoned to court for a hearing where a drug dealer was charging a cop with excessive force because he broke his arm when he tackled him. Obviously, the cop was found innocent, but the kicker is that my dad knew the cop. My dad worked as an air force cop for 12 years, and works civilian for Civil Engineering on base now. He knows hundreds of cops, and he just happened to have talked with the guy on trial before. How he managed to make it all the way to court after telling them that he probably knew the defendant, I'll never know.

1 回复I want to know who the dumbass attorney is who picked up that suit and who paid him, of he got paid.
-
1 回复Question, was he a dealer or just look like him? Also if he was innocent why did he run? I never understood that mentality, I was always taught running from authority/ a punishment only makes it worse.

1 回复由Vicex编辑: 8/9/2017 5:46:52 PMI don't know what you are complaining about. You didn't almost get fired, your department followed SOPs for such claims. It didn't indicate that you were about to be fired. Seems exactly how such a claim should be followed up. 1) event occurs 2) alleged police brutality 3) admin leave (paid) [if any leave at all] 4) investigation to determine what occurred and if claims are valid 5) result of investigation 6) lawsuit dismissed 7) Back to work

29 回复Legalize, tax, and regulate. Then you wouldn't have had to tackle the guy in the first place.
