I think its sad that this Destiny forum, designed to give feedback for those who play Destiny, by those who play destiny are so fukking cynical that a "why I'm cancelling" has 22 more up votes than this post.

Eh, with anything successful you get a very adamant and vocal opposition that just loves to crow as loud as they can about their hate for the thing. The forums have at least a dozen accounts I know of where the people no longer play destiny and haven't for a looooooong time, but they love being on here daily posting about how bad the game is and so on. Not exactly mentally healthy behavior there.

So? Does that really warrant people sticking around two years after they last played the game to biatch and moan about changes they never experienced? And to continually just shiat post about how horrible the game is, how horrible d2 will be, and how horrible bungie is as a company? Or maybe does it show how utterly obsessed some people are with just being asshats at all times in a place where they can continue to be mostly if not entirely anonymous since they long since removed even the most tenuous link to any sort of identity beyond the name they use on here? This would be like the time you were a shiatty kid or teenager (and you were, even if you don't think so. We all were) and a group of people following you around talking about it ALL THE TIME and trying to convince everyone you come into contact with on a daily basis that you are still that shiatty person because they experienced it once years ago.

Sad yes, but it doesn't surprise me. I'm surprised more by those that are still optimistic for a "better" game or for "better" behavior on the part of Bungie. I think it much more functional to use the game for what you like and drop optimism for what you don't like ever changing or being corrected in a that is satisfactory.
