Only question is I still have absolutely no idea how that Abyss cheese works. I haven't found any useful tutorials on it yet either.

To fly over it's just simply having to face the same direction when dropping down, and as soon as the "Darkness Zone" appears on the stream you break out with a jump + sword combos (or Twilight Garrison into jump combos). Use 7 combos for TG, 8 combos for others and then start turning. Sometimes people do the combo too fast which just makes them drop. ScaRdrow has a good tutorial showing the method alone for it :)
