I'm hearing a lot of talk about Ice Breaker needing a nerf and sidearms being overpowered. I used to be on the sidearm is overpowered train, but not Ice Breaker. Nobody complained about Ice Breaker when everyone had their special ammo. Nobody complained about sidearms when primaries were still a little decent. (and nobody new they were any good) Nobody complained about No Land Beyond until the huge flinch applied to all snipers and No Land Beyond was discovered to have no flinch. Wasn't No Land Beyond considered a huge joke of a weapon in year one? So why all the complaints now! Why was nobody complaining earlier when the guns were released! [b]Because other weapons were viable.[/b] To be honest, I'm surprised Bungie hasn't nerfed Eyasluna and Palindrome yet because they are 2 of the most used primaries in the game. Ice Breaker is not overpowered, i have been hearing this from a few people. It is a freaking [b][i][u]Sniper Rifle![/b][/i][/u] If Ice Breaker is overpowered, why are you kids not using it? Answer me that! Why are you not using this so called "Overpowered" weapon! You all chose to use sidearms at launch which were first deemed "Overpowered", if Ice Breaker is now "Overpowered" why are you not using it? Overpowered means it does not require skill and any casual could use it effectively. Sniper Rifles will always require skill unless they received a massive Aim-Assist boost which I don't think even Bungie is stupid enough to add that into the game. The point I am trying to make here is, [b]Don't accuse weapons of being overpowered just because they are used by most people.[/b] It just so happens most people enjoy the same weapon.
