The all important matter of opinion for you and you alone is: "did you get your money's worth from this game?" I've put in just under 50 days, didn't really enjoy it much past Y1, but it was fun while it lasted. So, I'm willing to give destiny 2 a shot, because despite the horrible weapon balancing, bug fixes that can take 6 months to a year to be implemented, and poor progression, there were still some really solid gameplay elements in Destiny. If it's not that great of a game? Well, there's always eBay to try and get my money back on the collectibles.
