I don't think so. There are plenty of things to grind for, for all you "hardcore professional" gamers out there. I like the way it is now. If you put in an adequate amount of effort you will get to experience basically everything this game has to offer. With a lot more effort you can do things that require more of a grind like quests, lighthouse visits, collecting, flawless raids, etc. I like the current balance.
