Agree with Mercy and Caboose
We need to stop this. We all see it. Political and Religious posts are taking over.
#Offtopic is not the place for this. Sure it's a flood for random discussion but it needs to be put under control. The posts are tearing us apart.
People just attack others over something as silly as belief. This is becoming a hive of hate. We have people on one end calling people racists because they support the President and another group saying the other group [i]doesn't care about the country[/i] because they don't support the President. And religion? [i]really?[/i]
It's madness if someone makes a post trying to prove their beliefs. Within 2 days, there's a post from another person attacking the belief.
The point is to just be civil. It won't hurt anyone.

Yes, this is a problem, the solution is easy though. Scroll down to the non-trending posts that have nothing to do with this stuff & get them trending. Lots of great posts, they just need the love to get higher on the hit charts!

The only way they go away or not be at the top all the time is to stop commenting or up voting the thread. We as the users give those threads power and even comments bitching about it keep it trending and relevant. You want good content and fun threads?[spoiler]in offtopic, good luck[/spoiler] Find them, they are out there. And support the shit out of it.
