Black hammer/spindle
So, with black hammer coming back, many people have already realized something; what's the point of black spindle now? An exotic carbon copy of a legendary item? No one's wasting an exotic slot if there's a legendary equivalent.
The solution is simple. Leave black hammer in post nerf state. Buff black spindle to be what the original black hammer was; a beast with infinite ammo. Spindle then clearly has something that makes it exotic. And you won't have the old raid strategy of "shoot all your gally rounds at it, then hit it with black hammer for the rest of damage phase". If people wanna use gally, they have black hammer with a limited amount of ammo. If they use spindle with infinite ammo, then no other exotics for them.
Makes it only slightly op,which is kinda what the age of triumph seems to be going for anyway.
If you support this, try and get it tending so bungie MIGHT see it and MIGHT consider it.
Tl/dr; give black spindle infinite ammo, leave black hammer with limited ammo.

Edit 2; well, the live stream answered it, no black hammer. Pretty disappointing. Thanks everyone who supported this idea.

5 回复This is exactly what I thought of, I agree 100%, anyway thares not too many bosses we need to pump constant rounds into anymore since most bosses are more fragile but more dynamic

6 回复they could always just leave them with the same perks, just move the blackhammer to a different damage profile.

7 回复I really really like your idea... Itd be cool... But, it would be broken for anything with a huge crit spot.. ie: Sepiks, warpriest, golgoroth.... So... Knowing that... Bungie prolly wont allow it. We can be hopeful though... The more likely scenario is they will give it the same DPS as event horizon but with the cool crota theme which would allow Black Spindle to remain King of Snipers when it comes to DPS.

7 回复Who says all the old raid weapons are coming back? I havnt watched the streams so I'm not sure but I had the feeling only certain guns like fate bringer n mytho were coming back.

4 回复It was actually the first thing I thought of last week when they officially announced that the old raids were going to be brought up to current light. I can see then nerfing Hammer even more to make Spindle the only option.

5 回复We don't know if Black Hammer is confirmed to return. There's no need for it to return if Black Spindle exists.
