I hope you're wrong on this. Strikes are easy enough as they are, especially with a burn modifier. Hell, even Nightfalls can be solo'd. I want more of a challenge.
What they need to do is make it a time and kill count challenge. Most kills and points wins, but then there's another tier of awards that if you have the fastest completion and kills as a team out of the entire data base you also get a reward AND no fireteams allowed. Just randoms like rumble. Just like they grade on guardian.gg pve.
but they also need to introduce a new stat, which would be "revive ability stat", meaning how well you are about reviving others. What that would do is if you die and you don't get revived, the other 2 players lose points or it reduces points per kill until the other dead guys up, but if they get the revive in a timely manner it'd give the reviver bonus points for a few seconds. That would encourage players to jump into crowds of enemies to get kills and if you do die, the other teams points don't count as much. Which makes them want to revive. that way they just can't hog every kill while you're dead. There's an incentive for the revive. Also the event only starts once you reach the no response allowed screen so people can't kill patrol adds. I hate when I do get killed and the other 2 players are just being too pussy to get a revive and sit back with scouts. I've talked to a bungie rep before and he said they are and have been working to implement a pve challenge like this, hints why guardian.gg for pve exists, but I guess there's a lot of kinks they'd need to fix and figure out first. I also personally think they should allow players to make their own custom strikes and story missions. Make enemies 400 light so you have to make better decisions like pvp. Etc
