It not a brand new game it the same title with the same shit & 60% more hype. I couldn't care less about emblems but the armour & weapons that I've and earned over the last three years I do care about as a solo player this means a lot more to me

This is beyond ignorant just so you know... i mean how does a few items constitute being an update and not a new game?

New games tend to have different mechanics. Updates have a tendency to keep the same mechanics. Besides it's quite possible the reason bungie isn't having D1 gear carry over is because it will hold the game back. After all bring D1 gear means bring ALL D1 gear, Exotics-Commons. Your gear set maybe be a bunch of legendaries but someone else's may be a bunch of rares and uncommons. That's a lot of gear to bring over and could probably hold the game back.

All they need is the models they can change the rest for what most people care even if they were converted into skins to put over new gear(transmog) people would probably be fine with that i would at least. What is more I personally want my emblems and shaders mostly and if they are changing how those work in D2 all they need o do is say something and I could make peace with that. What's more if one person has all exotics and legendaries it means they are a true vet the commons and uncommons are new players as such are subject to starting from scratch. It is more unfair that someone who game time and energy to have all of that torn from them just to allow someone whose tardy to the party to not feel slightly weaker. I mean when I started warframe my friend had all the prime frames to my 0 primes 1 frame and 1 set of weapons that didn't make me feel disadvantaged I saw what I could get and went after it now I'm building the last prime I need to have all primed frames. I can be could to start off in such a situation as it gives you a goal. One thing also comes into play they could make those weapons lower level so they would transition out of you loadout as you level up to the new cap giving players some closure for those items.

You don't even know If the gear categories are the same, or if there even are them.

so what that doesn't mean the models can't be brought over...... even if they change the armor types they could still find a way to add them.
