Mine was when I was 13. My older brother and I have a sleepover with two of our cousins, but our aunt and uncle didn't want us keeping the family awake all night with our Halo 3 and Halo 2 shenanigans. So we got a kerosene heater, went to the barn, brought the big ass CRT TV with us, and played halo. Four way split-screen. It was Fall, so we were breathing in nasty kerosene smoke to stay warm.
The next day our eyes hurt, and my older brother kept showing me the black snot that he was blowing out...

I imagine some mobile gaming experiences might be pretty wild :)

3 回复When I was like, 13 I used to play my xbox 360 in our car with a computer monitor and no sound. I snuck out at night to play because my mom thought video games were the spawn of Satan.

2 回复Oh nothing too dangerous. Just a sudden mortor attack during my 9 month deployment. I was enjoying myself playing some cards with some battle buddies.

1 回复2014 summer..... We had just moved into a new house but we had no AC and I think it was over 100 in California and I would sit on a leather chair while my ps3 sounded like a jet engine because of how hot it was while I also was wearing a headset that made me sweat like a pig. Worst -blam!-en summer ever.

6 回复Back at my old house I had my set up in the garage. It was the only available space and I was happy to have it. Unfortunately, since it was just a garage, temperature was sometimes a problem. Heat was easily remedied, since I could just leave the door to the house open and turn on the window AC unit, or just set up a fan if it wasn't too bad. The cold, however, not so much. During an especially cold winter, it dropped to around 9 degrees Fahrenheit. I couldn't use a heat dish since that sucker used so much energy it'd just cut off all power to the garage. So, I just put on a ton of jackets. I had so many layers, an onion would be jealous. This didn't really bother me, but I couldn't wear gloves for obvious reasons, and that's where problems began to arise. My hands got excruciatingly cold, the joints especially painful. My ankles were also beginning to hurt, despite me wearing multiple pairs of those long fluffy socks. For the longest time, I was able to ignore it, but eventually it got so bad I had to throw in the towel and retreat into the house. My hands ached for a week. Did I have to play videogames in those conditions? No. Do I have a problem? Possibly. Was it worth it? I'd argue it was.

When I was like 6 or 7 (in 1995/96) my parents were going to paint my room that I shared with my older brother. They set up a tent in the back yard and strung extension cords for a lamp, little tv, and Playstation. More recently tho Playing GameCube in my friends barn in the middle of the summer with like 95 degrees out, 85% humidity, mosquitoes everywhere. That was kinda rough. Or in that same friends barn Playing PSO blue burst in Oct/Nov it was like 34-45 degrees out at night. Also when i lived with my dad the furnace went out in the house he rented in the middle of winter and the landlord didn't have it fixed for like 2 weeks. So it was about 30 in the house for a couple weeks. We had space heaters but its a big old house with poor insulation and bad wiring so you couldn't have more than one heater at a time or it would blow a fuse.

9 回复Played my Vita in the bunker anytime we had incoming mortar strikes. Does that count, or did it need to be console?

1 回复由Upperclass Bum编辑: 2/20/2017 3:13:20 AMMy mother wasn't comfortable with me going in other people's homes when I was younger (probably why I feel so out of place whenever I go to a friend's place. Thanks mum) so we'd usually comprise and bring the tv outside. Weird as -blam!-, I know, but it was actually kind of fun. Not exactly harsh, but it's all I got. Also, long time no see!

Probably when I was playing MW3 with my friend at his house in their new game room. The furniture was nice and they had a small mini-fridge with drinks, but the furniture smelled like horrible cigarettes for the whole time their. I got used to it but it kept giving me a horrible headache that I would sleep off quickly then jump back in before it came back. We also got two boxes of swiss rolls and bazooka so all of that chewing added on to my headache as well. I noticed the smell less and less the more I came over to his house so it didn't bother me as much anymore.
