Don't know why people have grown so attached to their characters. They are a mute pack mule that hasn't strung a sentence together since 2014.
You are the Guardian, you die, your character dies. Your character dies, you are still here to continue the fight.
Let's hope we move onto greater things in Destiny 2.

I'm not so attached to keeping my character but it'd be nice to be able to carry evidence of their accomplishments forwards in the way of cosmetic items etc. Bungie talk a lot about our legend and there needs to be some way to carry that forward I think
