So I came up with this on my bed. It is similar, very similar to class order halls in WoW.
Basically every class has an order hall where you plan your adventure in Legion, upgrade your artifact weapon and can earn a very detailed order hall armor set.
Now what If Destiny 2 comes with a concept like this?
As a biased titan main, I will take these guardians as an example ;
Now as you probably know, there is a very popular Inn (somethingbrew) in the city, mainly visited by the Titans.
As my idea goes; leaders, advisories(?) and quartermasters gather in the Inn to offer Titans bounties, contracts and quests to aid their cause and maybe even accept them into the order. (Pilgrim guard, stoneborn, ETC.)
These missions award cosmetics like Marks, Emblems, shaders and all that crap. Kind of like Bane Of Crota.
Now every class gets a hall.
My idea for the Warlocks is that the Scholars of different schools or what you guys call it gather in a big library, or research center where they study the traveler, the light, darkness and all that.
Hunters go outside of the city, on a reclaimed area on maybe Russia, maybe even the cosmodrome. In the ruins of a storage area, a school or a monument.
Legendary hunters will come here to tell stories, teach the others or gamble. What you guys are up to is for yourselves.
This would, in my opinion, give the classes a more different feeling. They all go to their own social places with their class mates and give a more in depth view of both the Lore characters and groups and how the classes differ from each other.

10 回复Lol, just no to everything across the board... the guardians work together as they are guardians, the idea of having them in separate places makes no sense, that's why Zavala, Cayde and Ikora all share the same quarters and come up with plans of action together. Why would Titans be the leaders? If not for hunters and Caydes intuition guardians wouldn't have even stepped for on the Dreadnaught. I think all classes are equal in their respective right, but Titans being leaders is laughable. Furthermore WoW is WoW, no body said, asked or even fathomed a Destiny/WoW game... Destiny is a FPS not a MMO, not an RPG and not any other type of game. It's a FPS with 6 person raids (which is good) but that does not qualify as an MMO at all.

1 回复I play warframe and still can not understand why we don't have captured fallen ketch as our own private base/social space. First off the lighthouse has been given this exact function if you go flawless in cheats of osiris so we already know 100% that it's a function destiny has. Secondly we captured the house of winter ketch in year frikkin 1. So there is zero reason that the interior map of that level cant be used to implement this for pve players It's not rocket science....really it isn't....just takes a little imagination to reuse what you already have....

1 回复由an engram full of bees编辑: 1/19/2017 1:59:04 PMThey kind of already implemented this. You know the club/bar area at the Tower? If you look closely, it's specifically a Hunter hangout area. Hunter banners hanging from the ceiling, knives stuck in a map on the wall, sniper rifles and hunter armor lying around.

1 回复Order halls are great in WoW-the warrior one is basically Valhalla-and I think a class based social space system would work well. Especially would be cool if you could work subclass questing into it like WoW does with the order hall campaigns.

I main a Hunter but I've always loved this Titan concept: A war hall, with a large map hat has locations of massive enemy bases on Earth and important locations, placed on a rustic looking table at the end of the hall. Golden Age weapons/swords are neatly placed around the up and down the hall. Old, tattered flags of multiple countries hang around the walls. Armor pieces of Titan commanders/leaders placed upon small pedestals that trace up and down the hall. ^Not much to go on, but I just love thinking about stuff like this

6 回复Class halls might be a good idea for a social space, but I don't believe Bungie will incorporate this idea in Destiny 2. Blizzard might even call copyright strikes.
