Actually, now that I clicked OP's link, I know that Sony gave out over $1,000 worth of free games in 2016. Which means at least $940 in free games.

So what you're saying is... you pay 60$ a year, to get free games? They just call them free. You still pay 60$ a year, and they use this to try and justify forcing you into that.
Really? Cause when you're playing a game, Microsoft doesn't provide the servers. If you're playing cod, activision provides servers, if you're playing battlefield 1, EA is providing servers. Basically you pay for your internet, console, and game, and then you have to pay 60$ more to use those things
