Bungie: Why are the Abbadon and Nova Mortis, that came with The Dawning, literal reskins of Thunderlord?
Exact same stats and perks.
Just a different elemental and color.
The exotic swords have unique perks. Why not the same for Nova Mortis Abbadon?
Or simply ornaments?

3 回复That's probably why they were never released before. Bungie thought that players wouldn't want the same weapon with different elements. Players whined. Players got what they asked for. Players whined again

4 回复Here's the double-edged sword about the Destiny community. We all want the solar and void Thunderlords, knowing fully that they're Thunderlords with different elements. And as soon as we get them, we complain that they're Thunderlords with different elements.

3 回复I honestly think it would have been cool if Abbadon and Nova Mortis has been the other 2 archetypes of the machine guns as well. Such a waste of potential.

23 回复so you are in a solar burn siva strike right? but all you have is the thunderlord... what do? so im in a solar strike and i have the thunderlord equipped but i also own the abbadon... what do? oh yeah! i just switch to the abbadon and reck, while you sit back doing less damage due to only owning the thunderlord!

4 回复Because people saw them in the trailer for TTK and were crying for exactly that. A void and solar version of the thunderlord. That is exactly what they gave us.
