- Gives you something to watch while you wait to respawn
- Helps you learn to be more aware of your surroundings
- Allows you to see that you actually got team shit and not "2 shot by MIDA" (which is impossible)
I mean, Destiny actually has more context for how kill cams are possible compared to most other shooters. We have a drone flying around us at all times (our ghost). Also most competitive shooters have this feature, why not Destiny?
Kill cams give you a small amount of satisfaction in knowing how you died and what they saw vs what you saw. To many times we die in the crucible and are left with the feeling of "wtf, how is that even possible?"
Kill cams calm those tempers a bit by allowing you to see what happen in a replay, from another perspective. "Oh, damn, I didn't know there was a blind spot there. Still bs through." It's not going to solve frustration but, at least make it bearable.
Here is a older video illustrating this pretty well. It also has some other good ideas that are on the list and does a pretty good job of showing you what it would be like. Kill cams are the first topic in there video.

1 回复由xDOOM CREW INCx编辑: 12/14/2016 11:55:49 PMBecause bungie doesn't want you to see the bullshit ways you die in this game again. Teleports, shots not registering etc.... The DVR kids would have a montage of bullshit every single day.

1 回复Because it will add way more latency to a game that struggles on connection. Not only that, but unless it was in the programming from the start, it is impossible to add

Bump, Those saying call of duty copyrighted it or that it would make it cod can stop commenting, it wouldn't make it cod,Mir would be absolutely amazing, sick snipes, super kills etc, get off the "it would make it cod" bandwagon".

2 回复I'm utterly baffled by the amount of "because this isn't call of duty" comments... For one, this game "steals" a lot of its design from Halo so your argument failed to hold any water. "But that's because bungie made Halo" ... Okay, and Activision is their parent company who also owns, get this, call of duty. Oh my god, no way! ... Regardless, this is a childish and flimsy excuse for not wanting a feature. Quests were added in the taken King, what is this, world of Warcraft? I understand that this is a forum and I shouldn't expect a civil adult conversion but, damn... Wtf...

7 回复Sure, let's make this more like Call of Duty.... Halo is already leaning more towards Call of Duty as of Halo 5 or even as early as Halo 4 by turning it's sort-of unique FPS gameplay to something more akin to the twitch-reaction, fast-paced action shooter that Call of Duty is well known for. I'd rather not see ANOTHER franchise go the way of Call of Duty.

3 回复I don't think kill cams improve the game any. It doesn't help CoD, it's a feature that holds zero gameplay value.

2 回复Kill cams would honestly solve about 70% of my rage in crucible. I constantly find myself asking how someone got a certain kill on me in many scenarios. It would rest my soul to know how they did. Its helpful to know if I'm off my game, they outplayed me, or I'm lagging.

the game already tells you how you died and who killed you. do you really nedd to see the titan fist of panic you again or the invis hunter in a corner with a shotty or the warlock that panicked nova bombed you. as far as the how is that even possible 99 percent come down to latency
