I'm sure most of us are pretty sad about the lack of elemental primaries. Sure, we have Supercell, but that's it. I think we should get some exotic elemental primaries, at the least. Here are some of my ideas:
Hard Light should be Arc. Have you seen the projectiles?
No Time to Explain should be Arc. Same reason as Hard Light.
Outbreak Prime should be Solar, like all other Splicer Toys.
Boolean Gemini should be Void. The projectiles agree.
Anyone have any other suggestions?
On a side note, did we really need two more exotic Solar heavy weapons in RoI? Right now, including both Gjallarhorn and Iron Gjallarhorn, we have 8 Solar, 2 Arc, and 2 Void. At least make Nemesis Star Void damage. "Strange Gravity" agrees.

2 回复Eh. I could understand giving Boolean Gemini an element, but Hardlight, NTTE, and Outbreak don't need one. They're already potent enough as is (although, Hardlight does need a buff). If they had an element, they'd be way overused in PvE.

2 回复I HAVE A BETTER IDEA, NO PRIMARY ELEMENTAL BURNS NATIVELY, PRIMARY ELEMENT SHOULD BE TIED TO SUBCLASS. SO ONCE YOU ACTIVATE YOUR SUPER, YOUR PRIMARY WEAPON IS ENGULFED IN YOUR SUBCLASS ENERGY FOR A CERTAIN DURATION EG 2- 3 MINUTES, MAYBE LESS, BUT IT WOULD BOOST YOUR DPS AND NOT REQUIRE PRIMARY WEAPON OVERHAUL PERHAPS A DESTINY 2 FEATURE, LIKE TO GET THIS NOTICED OR REPOST

5 回复Ok yes there needs to be more arc and void heavys but not nemesis star. It literally has star in the name
stars are made of fire
4 回复I do believe there is a certain element of luck involved... you know, not decrypting your 16th dragons breath or thunder lord, when all you really want is the nemesis star...

1 回复Touch of Malice should be void as well, all raid exotics should have elements and void just feels right for that

3 回复Burn should be separate from the gun IMO. Burns were removed from primaries because it was felt that they killed weapon choice and weapon variety. I disagree, but to the extent that choices were rather limited, it was not because elemental primaries existed - it is because there were to few weapons with a burn. The solution is elemental cores which drop from completing endgame activities (I would propose completing the hardmode raid). These cores can be used to add a permanent burn to ANY weapon you want. This does two things: 1) Allows the player to customize their weapon selections and remold their weapons to fit certain combat roles for certain activities, thereby giving us an incentive to change weapons based on combat situation and burn; 2) It gives us a reason to repeatedly replay endgame content, because you will want a number of elemental cores, not just 1 or 3. This is what should have happened when TTK launched, but instead, boneheaded Luke Smith happened instead.

3 回复Ace of Spades= Arc Talaloc=Solar Fab start=void No time to explain/hard light=arc Outbreak prime=solar They need to make a void primary Reason why I say this and it bad juju being void Is because juju gives a lot of super Does not need a burn And no other exotic primary fits the void category They need to make a void machine gun and arc rocket And they need to make a FUSION primary (Vex don't count) I mean a actual exotic Fusion as a primary We need of all this

4 回复... And telesto being the only void special. Or the two exotic sidearms being both arc. Trespasser to void would be great.

2 回复The 3 class exotics should've had burns. Ace of Spades - Arc Tlaloc - Void Fabian Strategy - Solar

2 回复I made a similiar post about this saying that Outbreak should be solar. It had over 1 thousand replies but it got taken down because I called someone a mental midget. I guess this is one of those "safe spaces" for all the special snowflakes. -blam!-in no life ninjas. But yeah i agree lol.

While I'm satisfied that no legendary primaries have elemental damage I think ALL exotic primaries should have elemental damage. Or at the very least, one primary with each damage type. We've got an arc primary in year three. How about a Void Thorn and a Solar Mida to complete the three damage types.
