So you are saying that at close range, all weapons should be able to OHK and gradually lose damage based on proximity to target?
You realize that would essentially make shotguns, fusions, and sidearms obsolete right?
You put forth the idea that 10% damage per 10% range reduction. What is 10% range reduction? Relative to what? The overall range of the weapon? or does it vary by map? Range stats on weapons are inaccurate, so that just leaves more problems than solutions.
Sounds like a very convoluted solution when primaries can simply be buffed.
risk/reward situation with shotties, fusion and sidearms. yes, it actually balances the game instead of giving those players impunity in those ranges. 10% damage INCREASE per 10% range decrease based on the stated range of said weapons. Correct.
