Festival was the exact same last year dude. People forget so easily.
Fyi u get umlimited candy bags, a free sparrow, 4 shaders, couple emblems, and 3 chests. Is that a lot? Idk? Depends on ur point of view.
Destiny has microtransactions and its here to stay. Yeah it sucks but u have to come to terms with it. They arent gonna change it.
Dont spend your money on it. Are u really that butthurt u dont have a flaming wolf mask or ghost ghost?

i'm actually really good with microtransactions however, let us just take a stab that of the roughly 7 million players registered on gg.org last week, 1 million bought 10$ worth of silver.. perhaps it is slightly more or slightly less but, lets just get some numbers. that is 10 million in sales.. is it really hard to create a sparrow we get for 2 weeks, 4 shaders, 2 emblems and a few consumables? if that is all this money went to we are def being ripped off.. you would think that we could have monthly events that are new and exciting with new bounties, quests or missions, weapons etc.. Am I upset that micro transactions exist not at all, I think they are a great idea.. but, bugnie needs to actually do what they said they would do and start using those funds to create new and exciting content. not pull out old content and add a few very simple skins. At least, not with the money we all know they are bringing in

As an individual consumer, you aren't paying for future content. You are paying for the item that you are receiving when you fork over your Silver. If you aren't making your value determinations at that point....you'lre lost....and that's not Bungie's or Activision's fault. If you think that the item is worth the money....then you aren't getting "ripped off" as long as Bungie gives you what you paid for. If you don't think the item is worth the mone....the don't buy it. But this business of posting and trying to tell other people how to spend their money is a waste of time. What is a "rip-off" to one person, is a good deal to someone else. ..and the person to whom its a good deal has no obligation to pass it up for the sake of the person who experiences it as a "rip-off".

I believe if enough people didn't come to terms with it, things would change. But by all means, (t)roll over and accept whatever they choose to feed you.

The issue isn't the micros it's that they said the micros were paying for more content but we haven't seen that alleged content. If they're gonna just bend us over at least they could tell us instead of saying that they weren't.
