There's no confirmation. At all. Just speculation, because Chief was in stasis and this Guardian is in stasis. That's the only argument people have. The only one people claim "confirms" it's a Halo Easter Egg. There was also one guy who tried to tell me "Why else would you be able to scan it? It must be a reference." Then I had to tell him that you could scan dozens of things in TTK. Doesn't mean every scan is a reference to Halo.

Youtube it....there's 2 eastereggs....one with a card where cayde references an old love back in the days (probably when he was buck in halo, its even the same voice actor) And one with a guardian with tons of light in cryogenic sleep aka master chief... just youtube for " cayde's stach mission eastereggs" there's 2.....

No. In the Grimoire, Cayde was once a mercenary. Was contracted to be a bodyguard for a scientist on the moon. Fell in love. Eventually, his soul was transferred into an Exo body. Do research first. But yeah... like I said up there. There's no reason why it'd be a reference. There's no "117" easter egg. No code. No nothing. It's just a lore thing. A Guardian in stasis. Wait... stasis... Dead Space has stasis... EASTER EGG CONFIRMED!!! Totally obviously referencing Dead Space. The Taken can be seen as Necromorphs, and you are in a destroyed ship. /sarcasm.

I'm not being a troll. I'm just being blunt and honest. No sugar-coating. Speaking my mind. Not any book. A book given to people who pre-ordered the Collector's Edition of TTK. It was included, and is canon. Everything that Cayde--6 wrote in that book is 100% canon. It ain't a fan-fiction. It's not something a writer wrote for shits and giggles. Bungie supplied it. It's official. It's canon.
