Man im sorry i am far from elite. I have never done Kings fall, i still did not even try new raid. I just cane back to destiny about a month before ROI. I did a ton of VOG and i could do relic and soli portals back at the forever 29 days. If you compare pretty much anything from year 1 to year 3...well year 3 seems like a cake walk bro. Folks in AF need to learn to stay alive. It is an easy and fun way to level up your light if done correct. I play solo 98% of the time and i never ever have issues. Also keep in mind AF is not meant to be played solo. I will attempt new raid tomorrow night.

No need to apologize ;) I run mostly solo too. I have one friend that plays destiny but he is super busy and can't much anymore. I don't disagree with anything you said, btw. I enjoy AF but have never bothered to try it solo. I go there, if people are doing it then I join in. If not I wait a bit then find something else to do. Regarding the timer, I see no issue extending the timer. It doesn't affect anything negatively, and merely gives a slightly greater chance of getting back in to the forge. I do see what it's meant by some of the responses that the short timer is designed such that a team wipe is possible. Anyways, good luck with the Nightfall when you do it.
