Seriously, don't they think that if vaccines do cause autism, we'd have nearly an entire generation of kids who have it?

 • Thats the same logic as people who think everyone should get a flu shot. I dont ever get flu shots and i haven't had the flu in over 10 years. Not everyone is going to get autism, but it's a risk people don't wanna take.

 • Its not a risk, because it can't happen. Even then , if it were possible, te number of autistic children would be much, much higher than it is currently. Also, the only reason you haven't gotten the flu, is because everybody else has been vaccinated. They are protecting you from yourself.

 • Not true, the flu vaccinations are prepared 8-12 months in advance and are based on a prediction of which two possible strains will affect is the next season. There is no promise the vaccination will work at all.

 • Yes I know there is no promise it won't work as effectively as years past, but there is no risk to get autism. That's what he was saying the "risk" was.

 • Your response to him was about himself not getting the flu, stating the reason is others are vaccinated, and that simply isn't true all the time so it can't be an absolute. I personally do not believe vaccinations cause Autism, but as there is no direct correlation for or against the claim, my opinion is just that, an opinion.
