Been hearing about these for a while, mostly in relation to hand cannons. Today was my first time experiencing them for myself. I always thought it was stupid, but now I realise just how ridiculous it is. I was in a game of rift just now, using the Ace of Spades to complete the Weapon Master quest on my Hunter (last quest before I get First Curse in Armsday tomorrow, then I'll have nothing to do on that character before RoI comes out). Noticed that on quite a few occasions, despite the crosshair being directly on my target, and the bullet visibly hitting them, the enemy took no damage. This caused me to lose several 1 on 1 gunfights and is discouraging me from using hand cannons in general once this is over (got one more match to go). If you shoot an enemy, he should take damage. The notion that a bullet could simply pass through an enemy whilst doing nothing to them is absolutely ridiculous. Bungie, please get rid of this.
