I've experienced the same thing. I got my wife hooked on playing PVP and she runs into the same problem. It's great if she wants to jump into matchmaking solo but it's not fun when it bumps up the skill level for us to play together. It would be nice if the game matched based on the lowest skilled player and not an average.
