Bungie chose to enter all their agreements. They claimed they would still maintain all control over their project. So either Bungie lied when they announced their slavery- I mean partnership- with Activision (in which case they should probably not be proud by that point and should have realized something was already wrong), or they told the truth and are deliberately keeping quiet for no logical reason.
