Raid gear already gives special perks. Doing this would only take away from the cool idea of actually having unique looking guardians we have now. Also, raid requirements are already 335(why?!), now you want 335+raid set as a requirement. Think if they did it for crucible, would anybody ever use anything else in crucible?
