I'll get this out of the way first. Crucible, not really my thing. I can go in and have fun most of the time, but I now have seen what people are talking about when it comes to the more boring side of the Crucible. I'm curious, does anyone have fun sitting around and sniping for nearly an entire match, or is it just all about the win? I have fun running around and such. I like the gun battles and the thrill of a close fire fight, win or lose. What's the other end of the scope like?
And yes, I have tried the sniping thing. It's boring to me. I get antsy.

The best is when they are hard scoping and you know where they are I take the long way around and melt them with a Fusion Rifle or headshot them with a shotgun I snipe sometimes myself but I don't stay in one place or go to the same spot every time

I chase them down with prejudice when I see them. If there is more than one I get a bullet for my trouble lol. Funny stuff. Run at them but out of the lane. Then in some weird spot just stop and hide or move around slowly. It bugs the hell out of them because they know you are there and can't concentrate on targets lol

As much as i agree with you i think snipers add risk to the crusible even if ur chasing someone down just to get smashed as u go around a corner i just dont know how they can sit their while the rest of their team get destroyed and dont just get into the action

Former shotgunner here. This is hard to admit but I was the felwinters/thorn guy in year one, sorry! Now I mostly fusion, because better range, but I'm slowly learning how to snipe and i do hard scope a bit, I also try to run and find new spots but it's pretty tricky! And nothing is more satisfying than that head shot, atm I usually get domed more than I dome though!

I love playing games against camping / hard scoping snipers. = free kills. And I'm only average at PvP. Playing against a good sniper however is tough. But that's because they are skilful. Just as playing against a good shotgun rusher, fusioneer, sidearm etc is difficult. You have to adapt if their playstyle is outplaying you. If you get domed more than once by the same sniper in the same lane, I'm afraid that's on you. I get that you don't crucible much, so may not know all the sniper lanes, but if u know a sniper is camping and aren't able to work you way around and hit them from a different angle, just play in a different part of the map. They will cost their team more points than they will gain if you don't feed them kills.

Many snipers are simply hung up on their K/D. Stay clear of actual combat and pick opponents off from afar. If they are playing an objective game, all the better. Ignore the Spark and Rift, snipe players who are actually trying to accomplish the objective, retreat to safety if things get hot. K/D farming at its best....and one of the many reasons that K/D doesn't really mean much in this game.

14 回复Snipers are pretty much free headshots, due to the lack of effort required to use them. The maps heavily favor snipers do to their poor design of three long lanes. So yes, it's just the boring and easy way to rack up points.
