2 回复Living on a dying planet that will eventually be consumed by our sun, the eventual collision of our galaxy and andromeda, the universe either compacting and creating the big crunch and starting over or everything drifting to far apart to the heat death. But let's live in the moment and thank our lucky stars that we don't have to have the death of the universe on our minds cause that's eons away.

3 回复The earth goes around the sun at 107,000km/h (66,000 miles per hour). The sun, the earth and the rest of the solar system orbit the center of the Milky Way galaxy at an estimated 792,000km/h (483,000 miles per hour). Relative to cosmic background radiation, our Galaxy itself appears to be moving at a speed of 2.1 million km/h (1.3 million miles) in the direction of Leo and Virgo. It's this motion I find mind-boggling. G'night.
