Welcome to episode 15 of the #destinytruthcast where you the community join us in talking all things Bungie and Destiny. Today JStevensontown, CarnivalLaw, RedWingGirl and I are joined by another new forum guest micktheknife.

I got a idea for you to talk about. Tell me what you think. Why not have the game environment change a little by little leading up to a DLC release. For example take a few of the elements we seen in the stream and go ahead and add them. Like let it start snowing 3-4 weeks before the DLC. Have a few patches of that virus pop up a few weeks early. Maybe add some extremely hard or immune fallen wondering around near where the new area will be. I think that would be fun and interesting. People would log on and explore. It would feel like the game is changing before your eyes. Instead of one day this then update and every things different. Set the scene before the DLC drops. It would add the feel of something bad is on it's way.

6 回复I only got into 5 total IB matches (because my wife and I moved mid week so I missed out on my opportunity to run Fun Police with my defender), but in all 5 matches I noticed pretty good connections throughout. I hover around a .9 K/D and wasn't getting completely slaughtered, so on my end thing seem to be looking up for connections. But then again I played solo for 4/5 matches. I know RWG and JS were having lots of issues and were part of mid to large sized teams. It's bizarre to me that you're almost punished for being in a fire team with friends with increased latency issues and teleporting baddies.

I wanted to put this together for myself. These stats proved two things to me. 1st my Titan, who I rarely play in IB won the most games and received the most rewards. My highest used character, the hunter got the least amount of rewards and had the most losses. Here's what I put together. 4 回复Bump. Sorry I had to leave early. That's the problem with living on the east east coast. Stupid time zones. But yeah, I think it's safe to say that any popular weapon or subclass is simply the result of the nerfs to other weapons or subclasses. They get crappier, so people stop using them. Other stuff gets used more. It becomes "popular" and gets nerfed. And so the meta turns. Stupid way to run a game, if you ask me.

9 回复Titans are not OP. Bungie has nerfed other subclasses too much. Bungie is making a big mistake with the way they balance this game. PVE and PVP needs to have their own balances and Bungie needs to stop destroying entire archtypes because of 1 or 2 weapons. It's ridiculous. A lot of good points in the podcast.

1 回复IB: Drops sure felt different this time around. I can't say they were complete crap (got some 335s, got some exotics from 3oC) - but felt like they tweaked something. Much less frequent drops it felt like and underwhelming when they did. ROI: (ROI where I am means "Return On Investment" FYI - foreshadowing or irony, i dunno) No vehicle combat. New Sparrow skins (okay, neat i guess). Maybe new ROI Sparrow Horns will shoot missles? #KeepHopeAlive

Maybe they will make other weapons more valuable, maybe not, but something has to be done. Fun show this week guys, You had me laughing a few times. oh and Deej hates to reload, he just likes to walk on the battlefield and almost die and few times, like a boss!

5 回复Great stuff. Question: how many Sunsingers did you see this IB? I got 2 characters to rank 5, and only saw 2 Sunsingers the entire time. So sad, that class was one of my favorites to play (but my lowest crucible KD)

(Personally I prefer snow and rain/clouds so it's going to be even better to me) I am only disappointed with one thing and one thing only... They are constantly adding "New Race" but it's never new it's just old recycled enemies with different armor... I'm not saying don't get it because of this but that I and we as a community want to actually have a "NEW" race. Like the ahamkara or agents of the Nine. I don't think light level 355 is the max, seeing as how they didn't have any end game gear and in the past have not shown the beta build to have max gear presented. Over all this will be a great DLC and am looking forward to it with a passion. 2 回复Some 22 plus games on my warlock and only got 2 snipes and 1 nerwins mercy... That and unfortunately every game was a group of sweats... And a thanks to Redwing JStevenston and your u for providing the podcast.
