[b]The gates opened, a tall figure behind it.
An ancient knight, of some kind. Wearing a suit of golden armor, complete with a helm shaped like the head of a lion, and a bright red plume. On his back, a large golden spear was sheathed, the point of the weapon flickering with electricity.[/b]
[b]The figure himself was atleast 7 feet tall, and lean.
He seemed awfully serious, standing straight and all. Until he pointed both of his fingers at you.[/b]
"Yo. How ya doin?"

"Good to meet you" The man draws his sword and places a two handed reverse grip on it. He bows while speaking. "I am Stain MacLeod. Son to Orlief the Black. [i]Ceann a ól an diabhail croí[/i]." He rose from the bow but kept his sword drawn. "I'm looking to rest and train here. May I gain entry?"

"Very well." With that Stian drew his sword and closed his eyes. He spoke a single word under his breath. "[i]Eiwaz[/i]" Complex runes revealed themselves on his blade. A bright, blue light lit every symbol on his robes. His eyes flicked open and had a series of golden flakes in them. "If you are ready, then I am"

"Indeed!" With that, Stian body-checked the massive knight, which, for a man at only 5' 9', is laughable, if not for the phrase he added before. "[i]Lucht iolrú[/i]" With that, his move would be equal to being hit with rocket.

"It is said that to win, one must strike first, strike hard-" Stain swung his sword in a wide arc while saying a phrase. "[i]Kuanaz[/i]" This spewed fire from the tip of his sword, traveling in the same arc as before, straight towards Ornstein. "-and strike fast!"

Stian spoke quickly as contact was made. "[i]Uruz![/i]" Stian faded through the floor as the spear made contact. He rose from the ground a few feet away, a tear in his robes that was singed. "A little too close a call. You're faster than you look" Stian stuck his sword out the side and spoke. "[i]Hagalaz[/i]" His sword changed shape. The blade shortened while the hilt grew much longer. It became close to the same size as his opponent's. "Let's test a little bit on your ground. What do you say?"

"You have quite the skill set yourself. This is tougher than I expected" "[i]Ithe[/i]" The spearhead started to glow a sickening shade of green and emitted toxic gases. It burned the air around it and began to eat away the gauntlet that held it in place.

Stian flew back and slide his on his back 15 feet. He wasn't very heavy. A rune burned right where Ornstein's knee connected that absorbed any bone breaking energy. But it was still enough to wind him. Stian was laughing and coughing at the same time as he got up. "Should've expected that type of force from a big one like yourself." He twirled his spear once or twice before he bolted forward again, his spear far out to the side. Just as he got in 10 feet he slid the spear out to its greatest length and swung around to gain massive momentum. Just before it would contact he spoke. "[i]gnóthachan[/i]" This increased the weight of his spearhead to that of a anvil, not something any man could stop.
