Hi! I have just recently been accepted into the Ashen Conflux, so this is my first lore(theory) post. Nothing fancy. Just my crazy talkings. So first, I just started reading the Books of Sorrow, and read until 2.1. So I don't know everything, like other people in the Ashen Conflux. In the books that I read, two of them have oh ____ mine. Each relating to the worm the Osmium King had. Oh bearer mine is usually on Ahamkara themed Exotic armor. A: The Exotic armor and Book of Sorrow final lines are extremely similar. B: The Hive's home world was said to have different species. Which leads me to believe that the Ahamkara, somehow, got to Venus with the Golden Age. And that the Ahamkara had come into contact with the Hive before, and the Hive gave them the worm larvae. That, or Crota gave some of the Vex the worm larvae and, on Venus, they gave the Ahamkara the worm. This than corrupted the Ahamkara, making them high-value targets for Guardians on Venus. This lead to the hunt which almost made the Ahamkara extinct. I say ALMOST because the Exotic armor pieces talk to you, and the worm the Osmium King had was referred to as 'dead.' My theory on how the Ahamkara got here: I think they ripped a whole in the void, and (accidentally) found Venus at the time of the Collapse, making them seem like light-hoarders.
