Undertale is so boring, don't buy it just because it's on sale.
I just got it on steam because it was on sale, but I'm already considering to refund it. The gameplay is repetitive and the environment & music is bland and uninteresting.
Also, the gameplay is so f*ing slow and tedious. Can't emphasize that enough. (And easy, the part where you have to dodge things in a box is easily the only part of the game that requires you to pay attention)
[spoiler]Before buying this, people kept saying that you should do a "Pacifist" run. So I tried not killing anything… this was most annoying when fighting Toriel, as she took at least 5 minutes of the same boring process over and over again.[/spoiler]
If you haven't bought this game already, [i]don't[/i]. Even a sale of $3 less is a ripoff.

3 回复It's all opinion. I personally believe Undertale is a good game, but most of its fanbase is pretty bad. That is why I lost interest in Undertale.

I think if after two hours it still hasn't clicked with you then it probably won't. Personally I'm also not very hot on Undertale. I get why it has its accolades, but I do think people shower a bit too much praise on it. Some people were trying to pass it off as one of the best games every made. It's not.

You aren't understanding it then. Its purposely a parody on RPGs as the entire premise of it is turning tropes on their head and poking fun at various things. Admittedly the opening is boring and Toby has expressed it as well but holy -blam!- is it a good game. Do pacifist and play it for the characters and story, not the gameplay. If you want it for gameplay, go full genocide and respond back here when you get to a certain spot
