Of course other southerners might be biased. You guys can post too. If you want share some of your Stories From the South. (Talking about the Southeast)
Seems the heat is a problem a lot of people seem to have. I don't blame you.

5 回复Like the southern United States? I think we should gather a massive workforce and chisel the entirety of the southern US off of the mainland and fucking sink it. But hey, that's just me.

由shell编辑: 6/24/2016 10:08:48 PMUncomfortable weather. Extremely hot in way south, slightly north has bad winters too. Less liberals, but at the cost of extremist racist conservatives that aren't much better. Less likely to get shot, despite the fact everyone has a gun. Friendly towns. Conventional cities (Except New Orleans) Good food Beautiful countryside. Not great K-12 education. Some pretty good yet affordable colleges and universities to make up. That's all. I could organise my thoughts, but that would take too long.

2 回复It's really humid in Alabama, which makes it feel so much hotter in the Summer and so much colder in the Winter. And yet, for the most part, it doesn't even snow here. I like the area though. Lots of big trees all around, and no tall buildings to be seen. It's quiet most of the time, which I like. I wake up to lots of birds chirping in the morning, and go to sleep hearing crickets. It's very relaxed.

I have lived in North and South Carolina, and I personally did not like either. I hate the weather (I don't like hot weather), the public schools generally aren't good, and I dislike the terrain where I live. But the people I knew in North Carolina were very kind, the same can be said about a lot of the people I know in South Carolina. I've heard from friends that the food is good (I don't go out and eat much). I can't really talk about cost of living or really anything to do with money since I live with my parents, and don't have a job. So yeah I personally dislike the southeast.

由Hwood98编辑: 6/24/2016 11:09:40 AMDeliverance ftw. I live in Tennessee. I have stopped and helped people on the side of the road, fix a tire, give a ride and brought them gas to help them out. And have had people stop and offer assistance. Visited a friend in New Jersey, got shot at because I stopped at a broken down car and asked the person if they need any help.

The south is quiet and more serene. Large gaps of open land between settled areas and even in developed places there's still plenty of green. Very few people I've met have been impolite. All around I must say I do love it and would never trade it for anything.

1 回复I'm from Washington. Anywhere that gets hotter than 75 on average in the summer is too hot for me.

1 回复The only place I will ever live. Lived in the Deep South all my life, traveled all over the US, and I can honestly say the North is a festering shit hole. Sorry, but it's true.
