*Mortar barely recoils as he surrounds the figure with floating blades of pure light*

Last resort it is. *Gore seems to form into Bahamortar, except that he has a massive Mortar on his back, his arms seem to be covered in valhite and crystal, and his talons are white hot. His eyes are so bright they are almost painful to look at. He holds his arms in the air, and between his hands forms a ball of light so bright it rivals the brightest of stars* LOOK AT THE SUN! LOOK AT IT!!! *Garuud blocks Leyla, Serenity, and Hovark from the light, motioning them to their cave* [i]Come with me if you want to keep your eyesight.[/i]

The inhumanly deep voice says *the man starts bleeding black blood from his ears, nose, eyes as he focuses all his remain power into the spell he is cast turning the area black as everything around him whithers and dies. The mans hair turns white as he continues to focus. He casts spell and it summons meteor storm to come crashing down on where mortars/gore is standing* *leyla, hovark and serenity run towards the cave not looking back*

*Gore's star seems to hold it back, and while he's doing so, he runs up and slams the ball on the man. Radiation and pure heat and light attacks him from all angles, and he feels he cannot move as his strength is being drained away*

Well he's gone. As for your second question... Well he's gone. That's the part I'm afraid of. Although I think I have something that'll help. *Mortar rummages through his sack and pulls out a crystal, the same type of crystal that was on Gore's arms.* This emits an intense light and heat. It will deep fry those gooey creatures, turn Golems to new members of your sculpture collection, and probably hold off that guy for a longer period than he wants. Just don't look directly at it. *Mortar picks up a fairly strong stick from outside and binds the crystal to the end of it* I guess every mage must have a staff. For you. *He hands it to Leyla*

You guys are my friends, I'd give my life to help my friends' lives. Still, we gotta be ready if he ever comes back, the asshat. I mean, he definitely WILL have to recover, he can't exactly learn a spell to recover from blindness if he's blind... plus we made it very obvious that we can take on his pawns he sends out...
