My mate whom I game share with owns it and I downloaded it earlier today though I have yet to try it. Personally I prefer the Horizon series with its lil more arcadey style of handling and open world setting.
From what I've been told/understand.
Forza Motorsport: realistic driving car tuning circuit racing and just more generally realistic handling.
Forza Horizon: more arcadey driving, car tuning but to a less important degree as FM and more of an open world racer with a more arcadey handling system.
Not to put down the FM games but I just prefer my racers a lil more arcadey less serious and open world so FH is much more my type of racer.

Exactly that's why I said 'not putting down the MS fans' both are great games but both are made for different racing crowds. My first Forza was MS5 and must say I really didn't like it so was tentative about getting FH2 but man I love the game played a ton took a massive break and have recently started playing again cuz FH3 gave me the itch lol.

Yeah I'm more of a open world racer fan like burnout paradise,tried the crew found it uninspiring but seeing as it's free and apparently has had updates to improve it I may give it another go but FH2 is my go to racer and 3 will more then likely replace it.
