I'm all for new content and I'm not complaining about having to pay for it.
What does grind the hinges on the old wallet though is having to buy new consoles to be able to play it and not only that will we have to buy all previous content again on next gen.
I thought Bungie thought more of their customers that that.
Next gen should be brought in with Destiny 2 imo.

So you see my dilemma, 2 new consoles plus all previous content and the cost of the new dlc. Bungie are having a laugh, not only will I not be buying this new dlc for my son and I who have next gen consoles but I also won't be buying the whole shooting match for my other son and daughter. I'll also think twice about buying any further products from Bungie or Activision. I know the lack of my paltry purchases won't make much of a dent in their profits but I honestly hope someone in authority is actually reading feedback like this especially when they're supposed to be so "community " minded.

Yes I do agree with you. I just bought the Xbox One version and was playing it last night, besides being absolutely GORGEOUS! It was the exact same game as before (nothing surprising) just with less buffering and more textures. Unless they do something groundbreaking in RoI I'll still question the decision to drop Last Gen

To me personally I can't see any real difference but another thing that has me somewhat annoyed is the re introduction of year one content that we have to pay for again. For all their "community" mindedness claptrap Deej keeps telling us about they seem to go out of their way to antagonise some of us. One other thing that did make me laugh is I thought Tess trading co with all the emotes was supposed to pay towards future content, seems we're being fleeced all round.

How do you question it? They came out and said that legacy consoles are only 10 percent of the playerbase. If you were CEO would you want to cater to the 10 percent which will only continue to die or go ahead and make the commitment to the 90 percent.

That's a loaded question there cause there are a lot of other real world examples where the minority have a very powerful say in what goes on. In business, yes I would agree that catering to a smaller market is not as beneficial... if there was loss/no profit in it... let's say that Destiny has 100 players (so my math can be really simple for my sake...) 10% of the market is 10 players who are just as eager to buy Destiny expansions as the other 90. While 90 players will pay $2700 total for the game, those other 10 players will happily spend $300 collectively to continue playing (assuming everyone is not one of those' I quit because' players) There's still a market for it. The only reason I will say that it makes business sense is that A. The cost to upkeep and maintain Last Gen out ways the profit in coming B. The game would be significantly better by dropping Last Gen(and unless they change something in RoI they are the exact same game) C. A corporate big wig wanted some more dough so they dropped Last Gen to let them bring in more money. (Which unless this discussion was made by Microsoft or Sony, they wouldn't recieve the funds for the purchases of One and PS4's which is a good chunk of change)
