The old-world style and intricate details of of Tex Mechanica (they made The Last Word and The Chaperone) applied to a high tech energy weapon like a fusion rifle would look amazing. It would make a cool exotic weapon for an expansion or sequel, and it could be called [b]The Phantasm[/b]. The exotic bonus could be something like "kills with this weapon dramatically increase range and charge rate for a short time," or anything the designers feel would be would be balanced.
