I've been thinking, if us guardians can literally go into a strike or even a raid and literally kill/wipe out thousands of enemy's and their "god like" masters within [b]hours[/b]. Then why is this so called "darkness" such a problem anyway, Just a thought

Well you see, when you are consumed in the darkness you stumble about knocking into things. Eventually you stub your pinky toe against a dresser, eliciting a string of curses so foul that would make bad juju blush. In the light you can see that dastardly dresser and protect your wee pinky toes

Because in the long run, the same thing will happen to us. Consider this. The hive were once pushed back to extinction. Then they rose back up and started taking down the great and powerful things that the traveler threw at them. Then they pushed us close to extinction. Then we rose back up. Now we're meeting whatever challenges the darkness throws at us. It's a cycle. We're doing nothing special.
