I haven't played 1 yet but ive herd alot people say cut the tails off of dragons/bosses to trade in for special weapons.

I shot the tail off a Dragon and got a sweet sword, also chopped a Gargoyle tail off for a sweet axe. Tails appear to be loot bags.
