I can't seem to understand how male gamers can act like this towards girl gamers. A real man would show a woman more respect than anything.

As a female, it's not right. All players should be treated with respect, regardless of what gender they are. That also applies to women calling men names or being rude - it's not on, and not right. Sexism works both ways (chivalry isn't just a male mindset).
