Girl Tax?
I know the title may be inflammatory to some, so I'll start by saying I love the destiny community and usually have no issues.
Anytime I raid with a team that's over 50% strangers I always wind up getting kicked. Regardless of my K/d, light, dps or general wipe-causing--blam!-ups I'm always the one kicked.
Am I being paranoid? Or am I being penalized for bing a girl?

It's not down to armour or dz ranking as there are only a small portion of players similar or above, so go figure, maybe some guys would rather just play with guys..

Are the non-strangers your friends? Because if my friend got kicked I'd be the -blam!- outta that too. But as other people pointed out, barring some horrible personality flaw no one's ever told you about, they either think you're a squeaker or, to put it as nicely as possible, have little to no experience with females.

6 回复I'm a girl and I don't get kicked all. People think I'm a 10 year old squeaker because my voice is so high which gets in my nerves... Being called he everyday when I talk to random is fing irritating, I know my voice is kind of distorted because of the mic but I know I still sound like a girl.. For some reason there's no such thing as girls on destiny... But uh yeah I just lead my team from now on because I really hate playing with assholes, scrubs, etc. If you want to add me so we can raid or something my GT is Leostratos c:

That's very unusual, so something is clearly wrong. But without observing you in action or, better yet, a large data set showing the rates of girls getting kicked vs guys getting kicked, we can't really draw any conclusions about whether sexism is responsible.

I think you probably were discriminated, imo. I've been playing for 9 months and wasn't kicked out of anything unless it was a situation in the lobby where 7 people showed up for a six man raid. You were probably in a team with an jackass for a leader. I would post on LFG, make you're own team, and as leader - you're in charge of booting😆

I don't really know for sure if that's why or not. Do you have a lot of completions? People might judge you for that, or if your gear isn't up to their specs. It sounds mean but that's what people will do, they check your stats and everything to make sure your good. I would just switch up what LFG thing you use, possibly even use these forums. Just explain your predicament and people will most likely be willing to help you out. People can be massive jerks in this game so it wouldn't be surprising if they are secluding you because you are a girl.

You're not being kicked for being female and putting that idea out there is as ignorant as the white knights that are in here justifying your excuse. Gender aside maybe you're just not that good, and I really don't mean that to be disrespectful just making an observation from the facts at hand.

Haha that's so weird that you get kicked for that I play with my friend adrianne quite a bit myself so... I find woman are way more chill at this than men too like they arnt hollering instructions at people or trying to force them to play the way they do but yeah I personally don't discriminate
