Haha, the guy was making a parody for all the people saying, "dark souls needs a easy mode." But, I do see the issue with what you're saying. All I can say is, people play how they want. You can't change that.
I understand that people can play how they want, but find DS3 was dumbed down for a wider audience.
Dark Souls 3 is the easiest in series IMO. Not once did I feel the need to turn around, track back to my last bonfire in order to bank my souls. I knew the next bonfire would be close.
I only found two boss fights in the game difficult, dried finger wasn't needed. It's just a shame that a franchise renowned for its difficulty is now catering to casuals.
It's still a great game, love PvP, but PvE was definitely dumbed down.

Pve is better than two by a large margin. I always laugh when people say its catering to casuals. Hell miyazaki even said he didnt want dark souls to just be known for its challenging difficulty
