Guardians✨ How did you pick your Gamertag?
Hello-Guardians(^-^)/ ！
One of me & my Fireteams favorite things to notice in this beautiful gamerworld of ours is a clever Gamertag ! Whether it's a fellow Guardian at the Tower or an opponent in the Crucible, a good Gamertag is always appreciated.
So share with us the origin of your gamertag! Why did you choose it & what does it mean to you? No judgements here(^.^)！
I'll start: Professor Hikita is a character from one of my Fireteams favorite 1984 scifi movies "Buckaroo Banzai" , he was the Japanese scientist on Team Buckaroo responsible for inventing the Over Thruster( I recommend the movie if you haven't caught it yet ). Most of my gamer friends use names from this movie.
We really welcome you guys to share with us your "Batman" names here!

1 回复Cool subject OP. I'm a Thai national (but culturally very removed, unfortunately). My given name is Ekachai, which my wife butchered into egg-Gaddai. The latter means rabbit in Thai. I picked it for my PS4 gamertag because no one has it, and I always prefer agility based characters.

1 回复I was reading the book runny babbit by Shel Silverstine in 7th grade. Everyone in the class started flipping each other's first letter of their first name and the first letter of their last name. So you herd results like instead of Jacob Vaz you herd Vacob Jaz. For me however it turned from Joey Thomas to Toey Jhomas to which I liked Jhomas but hated Toey so I shortened it to just Jh0mas.

2 回复My name is TGS WHITECHAPEL and this is my story. TGS means The Gaming Surge it was my old clan I was in but we are disbanded but I still keep it for the memories. WHITECHAPEL is the name of my favorite band in my home state. \m/ So that is my story.

1 回复Mu mate gave it to me. Turns out my surname rhymes with thrones. Who would of known!? 😃 Luckily, I'm an avid fan of the books (and now TV show). On the downside, because of the name I feel compelled to always use the Year 1 Iron Banner emblem with the wolf head Just doesn't feel right to swap it.
