Alak-hul is just a knight who's a bit stronger by the sword logic (slewing legions of hive for his girlfriend... How do they breed anyway? Never mind I don't wanna know)
He's capable in a one on one fight sure, I suppose.
However malok has secrets given to him by Savathun and Oryx. And when he gained his new shape (became taken), oryx allowed him to keep some of his own will so he could then be capable of utilizing lesser taken in battle.
Alak-hul would be alone, whilst malok could use strategics to his advantage and shadow touch him, so there would be no way for darkblade to charge him
Malok wins

Shadow touch would have no effect on Alak-hul as he is not a being of light. Your quote also shows he has no problem disposing of trash mobs. Even so, by Sword logic Alak-hul would have his own following, which are likely all those thrall you fight in his arena.

由TrolleyProblem编辑: 4/15/2016 3:26:05 AMA legion of thrall vs countless of taken given a "perfect" shape that will's are now tithed to malok. Ranging from thrall, to duplicating psions, to phalanxes, vandals to shield the others, and captains to charge. Those thrall would be made quick work of Also, just because an entity is not that of light doesn't mean they can't be shadow touched. Shadow touched is a blight. A clot of darkness, a pure connection to the deep that forces you to question your very being. It's essentially a non sentient black heart (from the garden) But let's say alak-hul can't be touched. Let's say due to malok not having direct access to the worms or the tablets he isn't powerful enough to touch alak-hul. He still has legions of taken, and the power, blessing, and tactics of savathun. Alak-hul just has a few dozens of thrall and a huge blade. And considering malok still has his will and controls taken, he has quite a lot of power in sword logic He'd most likely still win

由Zelrons编辑: 4/15/2016 3:37:38 AMMalok doesn't have direct control of the Taken. He has only learned how to direct them, how to summon the blights which in turn summon the Taken. Part of the point of the strike is to kill Malok before he masters this power. Your argument seems very dependent on Malok basically trying to overwhelm Alak-hul with trash mobs without having to fight him at all.

That's what I meant. Of course malok can't control the taken. Only oryx could because he was the one to take their wills. However due to Oryx's and savathun's influence, he is capable of directing them, and controlling them in battle And yes, it is true. And that would happen. If alak -hul can only attack in close quarters. That means he has to get close to malok. And considering malok could just summon a bunch of taken, alak-hul would have to slay them first. And whilst he isn't paying attention, malok would be blasting off axion darts and simply summoning more legions. And even if alak-hul's thrall got to malok, it's not like they'd stand much of a chance as A) more taken could protect malok. B) malok could easily kill them. So with his theoretical endless amount of taken, tactics, and understanding of sword logic thanks to savathun AND his "perfect" shape given by oryx; the odds are definitely in malok's favor. Alak-hul is just too sluggish, not understanding of sword logic (like xi to, only attempting to become stronger. Never becoming more tuned with it), and his sluggishness, and numbered army of much weaker thrall compared to duplicating psions, shielded vandal snipers, phalanxes, and blinding captains, alak-hul could never touch him. And if he did, malok's understanding of sword logic and free will in taken form would still most likely save him

Actually... Yes lol Even so. He'd be teleporting in front of malok. Meaning he'd be far away from his thrall and malok's taken wold surround him And malik's understanding of sword logic is greater than alak-hul's So it'd still be pretty one sided
