I'd probably agree with most of those if I'd actually played a lot more. But I haven't. In fact, I've played a grand total of three of them. Personally, I think Game of Thrones was GotY, but then I haven't touched Fallout 4 in months. But I certainly don't believe Arkham Knight was the best British game.

I think most people that have been playing Bethesda Game Studios titles for awhile and also played most of the big games of last year will acknowledge that Fallout 4 wasn't pushing any envelopes. Games like Bloodborne, MGSV, and certainly The Witcher 3 were more impressive. I certainly think Fallout 4 is a great game. Not going to argue that. I think it should get a nod as a nominee for best game of 2015. But it has shown that maybe BGS's success is making them a little soft. Guys like CDPR are out Bethesda-ing Bethesda.

3 回复I would say bloodborne is better than fallout but it is a console exclusive so I don't think it would win goty. It did win design.

16 回复Too bad fallout 4 isn't actually that great. Dialogue is simplified and pointless. Your choices hardly matter and your pretty much on rails. No repairing equipment. Crafting is horribly bare. Fallout 4 has some greatness to it. But I don't feel that out weighs the horribly streamlined experience that was clearly done to appeal to casual gamers.

I only spent about 40 hours across all of my characters and ran out of unique content on the 3rd. Id like to add the at least 7 hours was building my base before realizing its just a post apocalyptic Sims 3 with less memorable characters. Yeah, I meant it the way I said it. The companions all have less-then-average backstories with a silly tacked-on romance option. The rpg aspects are completely ruined. What is really sad is that I wanted to like Fallout 4 SOOO BAD. It's Fallout! But it wasn't even half as good and Fallout New Vegas. Oh well, at least everything is shiny. P.S Dear Bethesda, please hire Obsidian to make the DLC and Fallout 5. You seem to forgot how to make good rpgs.
