How many light years away is the farthest star that we can detect? Do we still have contact with Voyager since it left the "boundary" of our solar system?

    about 4.3 lightyear. Proxima Alpha Centauri something. And if voyager's parts are functional, it would be able to contact. But, it would take 2 years.
