Got a rather interesting PM on Reddit the other day from one of my well trusted sources who's actually told me things in the past that have come to become true. Anyway, in this message he told me about Bungie's plan to bring in custom games for this update. After the Division announced it's raids "incursions" were gone drop the same day as the update, they realized they had to drop some major content to not lose to the Division. While custom games had originally been planned to come out early/mid summer to keep people interested until the next TTK style expansion in the fall, they decided to release them in order to combat the division and keep people hooked. They will be reveling it in the sandbox update next week, along with crucible rebalancing.
