For those of you who don't know, [i]Death Note[/i] is an anime about a japanese highschooler (Light Yagami) who finds a notebook which can kill a person if you write his/her name in it, while imagining their face while writing the name. He is extremely smart, and that intelligence is extremely dangerous. He begins killing criminals all over the world with the notebook in order to create a "New world" that he is the god of. A detective with a hidden identity, however, tries to catch kira (A difficult job that could end up getting himself killed if his identity were revealed) by looking at evidence of killings. This anime is unique because of the way you can choose a side, so I'd like to see what #Offtopic thinks of this. Ryuk is a god of death that gives the notebook to Light.
