But they don't charge money, it's based on the viewers choice to donate. From the streamers perspective they are helping those who may not be able to accomplish that goal themselves. What's so bad about helping others? Not everyone has the time to invest becoming elite at a game. If you're frustrated that they carry, imagine if you got matched up against 3 elite players instead of 2.

I believe only good players should go to the lighthouse. Trials and raids shouldn't be completely beatable for everyone. If you're bad, you shouldn't be able to succeed, and giving bad players the ability to go to the lighthouse invalidates the rewards.

I think it's this elitist attitude that makes Destiny lose players to other games. Worse players succeeding does not effect you in any way. If you're worried about the rewards, guess what they will still be bad players with them. It's not a big deal.

Which is as big as it is because of the majority. Ie casual player base. Without them, no revenue. Without revenue, no new content. No new content, no "hardcore" player base. And if the game is not fun for the majority (which would mean having some shred of success in a game), then again, they leave. Which ultimately makes it worse for the "hardcore" base.
