Would anyone actually help a 304 that's willing to pull his weight? PS4 btw.
I've spent the past hour or so trying to get into a hard mode raid so I can get some better gear, but every group says "Oh go get some better gear you -blam!-ing scrub," then there's the boot.
How am I supposed to get better gear if you won't let me participate in the parts of the raid that are 300 light (Warpriest and Totems)?
And before anyone says, "Oh you're a scrub, go back to playing normal mode," feel free to check all of my characters on Xbox and tell me I don't know how to run the raid.
Edit: thank you to the Destiny community for restoring my faith that there are those that want to help others, you guys are great.
Edit 2: For others in my shoes, I have made a thread in recruitment for 315- participants and for sherpas to help out those that need some help

Edit 3: Ran various checkpoints of the raid, and managed to beat it, alongside getting a 320 Ghost on my very first Hard Totems CP.

I have been through the raid once on normal, and got a sniper rifle. Other than that, everything that got my light up, is from doing trials, iron banner, crimson doubles and sparrow racing. You CAN get higher light without raiding. It just takes longer. I just get so sick of everyone complaining about it being impossible to gain light because noone will carry them through the hardmode raid.

1 回复If you know what you are doing it would take you. I've had several 315+ that didn't know anything and plain sucks.

3 回复I'm 307 and I'd like to just do normal. The problem is I don't have a mic. I've seen people do it though and I think since I could hear everyone else we could do it. Ps4

1 回复I am in the same boat. Add me on psn and I am down to help. I have characters in both psn and Xbox. My psn guys are just all getting high enough to run the hard raid.

2 回复Bruh, add me. I'm 320, me and my buddies run hard mode like fat kids eat cake. I took my wife in at 278 and she walked out at 313.

1 回复I could use some help or a group. I'm 302. Now before you start harassing about being 302. I have plenty of raid experience. I can hold my own and pull my own weight. Help from higher light level would be really great though.

You do know that armour from any class can be used for infusion.

1 回复My warlock is 306/308 depending on what gear to wear and i cant get in a hard to dave my life so i just lvled a titan since i cant get into a hard raid.

Just run normal 1-2 more times and you'll get there, golgorth challenge will drop you 310's, any you'll be closer to 310 and ppl are a little more willing work with that. I mean you may be good but you can't really expect randos to know that.
